ITIN preparation & advisory — how we work right now

Our firm is currently in an administrative renewal and regulatory transition regarding our direct IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) status. During this interim period we do not sign Form W-7 as an acceptance agent and we do not certify identity documents in-house. We work strictly in an advisory and application-coordination capacity: we handle the technical analysis, eligibility assessment, and full compliance review so your paperwork meets IRS standards exactly before it is filed.

There are two ways to complete your application. Choose the one that suits you in the form below — your indicative fee updates to match.

Option A — Advisory & direct submission

£295

We audit your qualifying documents and prepare your Form W-7. You obtain a certified copy of your passport from your national passport-issuing authority, a US Embassy/Consulate, or an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC), and you mail the finalised paperwork and certified copy directly to the IRS yourself. We do not transmit any documents to the IRS, and we do not take responsibility for the passport or documents you send.

Option B — Full service via an independent CAA

£475

We perform the same audit and W-7 preparation, then coordinate your application through a trusted, independent and fully active Certifying Acceptance Agent from our professional network. That agent verifies your identity, signs under their own live CAA credentials and files with the IRS — we do not sign or certify. The £475 is all-inclusive. If you cannot attend in person you will need to send your original passport; verification is then completed by secure video call or directly with the independent agent. What Option A means for you You obtain a certified copy of your passport directly from your national passport-issuing authority, a US Embassy/Consulate, or an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC) — a notarised copy from a notary or solicitor is not accepted. You then mail your signed Form W-7, supporting documents and certified copy directly to the IRS yourself. We prepare and review your paperwork only; we do not send anything to the IRS on your behalf and we accept no responsibility for documents or passports you send to the IRS.
What Option B means for you After we prepare and audit your file, we coordinate your application through a trusted, independent and fully active Certifying Acceptance Agent from our professional network. That agent verifies your identity, signs under their own live credentials and submits to the IRS — we do not sign or certify. The £475 is all-inclusive. If you cannot attend in person, you must send your original passport; verification is then completed by secure video call or directly with the independent agent — see itincaa.com/itin-video-call-passport-verification-irs.

We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, in line with UK GDPR (Tax and Accounting Hub Ltd, Co. 08408126). We never ask for your passport or documents at this stage. An ITIN is issued for US federal tax-reporting purposes only; it is not work authorisation or proof of immigration status. We pre-screen eligibility and will tell you before any work begins if we do not believe an application should proceed.
